GDN Partners with GHPAC for Landmark Ghana–Rhode Island Trade, Investment & Innovation Forum

The Ghana Diaspora Public Affairs Collective brings Ghana’s growth story to Rhode Island’s innovation economy with GDN as a key partner and Congressman Gabe Amo delivering the keynote.

The GHPAC Global Pitch Rhode Island subtitled "Gold Coast Meets Ocean State" is positioning itself as one of the most strategically significant diaspora trade forums in the United States this summer. Taking place on 22 June 2026 at District Hall in Providence, Rhode Island, the forum is convening government officials, investors, and diaspora leaders around a direct question: how does Ghana’s next wave of economic growth connect to one of America’s most dynamic innovation economies?

The GUBA Diaspora Network is proud to be named a partner of this landmark convening, alongside the Ghana 24-Hour Economy Accelerated Export Development initiative and GARI, reflecting the breadth of institutional support behind this event.

A Keynote That Sets the Tone

The forum will open with a keynote address from Congressman Gabe Amo, U.S. Representative for Rhode Island’s 1st Congressional District. His participation signals the political seriousness of this engagement and the growing recognition at the highest levels of U.S. government that diaspora-driven trade is not a niche conversation. It is an economic priority.

Six Sectors. One Vision.

The forum agenda is structured around six priority sectors that define the Ghana–Rhode Island opportunity landscape:

Blue Economy
Maritime Logistics
Infrastructure Development
Industrialisation & Manufacturing
Trade & Investment
24-Hour Economy

These are not abstract themes. They represent the specific corridors — from Tema’s port infrastructure to Providence’s innovation clusters — where real capital, real partnerships, and real outcomes can be built.
